You could resume your normal diet during the other five days of the week. Just be sure not to overeat or you will undermine your own cause.

Actually, you can boost your weight loss potential by slightly cutting the calories on the other days. For example, you could always drop from 2,500 calories per day down to 2,300. That 200 calorie reduction on the remaining 5 days will yield a 1,000 calorie reduction. That is an additional pound over the course of a month with really no effort!

And do you want to lose even more weight while performing the "eat stop eat" fast? You could increase your exercise and activity levels. This could burn further calories while also speeding up your metabolism. As long as the metabolism remains expedited, it will become very hard for stored fat to remain on your frame. In time, you might even develop a very "ripped" appearance. This will be doubly likely if you add progressive resistance weight training to the mix. This does not mean you need to overdo it in the gym or train very hard. Even a light exercise routine could yield amazing results.
